The Brazilian side also offers activities like viewing wildlife and the Itaipu Dam, the world’s second-largest power station. There are also three main hiking trails, and the hikes are not difficult for kids, even adults.
Perito Moreno Glacier
There are plenty of things to do for your Argentina family travel to Pero Moreno Glacier. You can take a guided glacier tour or explore the area independently. Either way, you’ll want to visit the visitor center for safety and information about the glacier. You can also walk along a boardwalk that provides excellent views of the southern and eastern edges of the glacier.
Art museums
When planning your Argentina family travel, you might want to include a visit to one of the many art museums in the country. In ritzy Recoleta, you’ll find the Buenos Aires Museum of Art, located in the former home of Josefina Alvear, the daughter of an aristocratic Argentine family. Designed by French architect Rene Sergent (who also designed the Trianon Palace Hotel in Versailles), the museum exhibits 19th-20th century European art and marquetry.
Outdoor activities
If you’re planning a family vacation, Argentina has plenty of outdoor activities to keep the children amused. The country’s largest national park, Santa Cruz National Park, offers fishing expeditions, horseback riding, and photography safaris. Guests can also enjoy the scenery and wildlife, including black-chested buzzard eagles and condors. However, small children may not be able to participate in more adventurous activities, such as ice climbing.
