Electric cars are in demand due to people who believe in fast and furious traveling. Traditional gas-powered vehicles can’t offer an enjoyable driving experience. Now when it comes to charging solutions, electric car owners opt for electric charging stations. To keep their cars up and to run, they must have to charge their batteries safely.

Two Options For Electric Car Charging

As electric cars relied heavily on battery power, so before you move around, you should make sure that your vehicle has all the energy it needs to keep moving around. For charging your electric cars, you can either set up an electric charging station at home or rely entirely on public stations.

Public Stations

As the need for charging is rising with the increasing use of electric cars. Therefore it’s not hard for you to find an electric station for charging your car nearby. You can find them near a bus station, close to your society and even next to a big mall. Although public stations are accessible, people don’t opt for them because they require you to pay a handsome amount of money. You can pump 40-50 miles worth of charge into your car batteries every 10 minutes through a public station. DC fast charging is widely used in those stations. This charging option is a rapid form of charging and highly efficient. However, it’s an expensive option- not everyone can afford it.

Home Station

Setting up electric charging stations at home seems like the best option you can have. You can charge your electric car battery at a price you can afford. It might not be as fast as charging power from a public station, but it will work for you. You can opt for either Level 1 or Level 2 Charging.

Level 1 charging solution is cost-effective, but it takes more time to charge your battery. In an hour of charging, your battery gets the power to run for 4.5 miles. It’s not that impressive, but when you want to charge your car battery at a low cost, then level charging seems like a good option.

Level 2 charging option falls between DC charging and level 2 charging. Therefore, it’s quite suitable for home use. Make sure you have ESVE level 2 charger installed at your home. This charger works great as it will power up your battery to run for 70 miles in just one hour. However, it would help if you experienced electricians who have good knowledge of setting up electric charging stations at home.
