With the release of the mobile version of RS mobile bot the opportunities to use bots has only increased. The way the creator of the game, Jagex, detects bots is by analyzing the mouse movements a player makes (and other player behavior patterns). Because mobile phones only require tapping a location on the screen these detection methods no longer work on an RS mobile bot. A bot can make thousands of clicks on a specific location in seconds. The bots are believed to be responsible for the high rate of inflation of gold and other objects of value.
Bot designers claim, probably correctly, that clicking a specific location is impossible to ban completely and is safe from an automated bot detection system. Some say that even bot creators themselves hate botters because they have spoiled the game.
However if you still want to use a bot you’ll need to understand that using it effectively will require climbing a learning curve as well as a certain amount of dedication to get the best results. Decide exactly what you want to achieve before diving into the ocean of bots available.
Free bots are a good way to familiarize yourself with the basics of botting but you should never use them on your main account. As demo versions they get banned very quickly and cannot be used to get gold very easily. There are also scammers out there who mislead players into giving up their account details only for their resources, or even account itself, to be stolen so you should take the time to do some research before taking the plunge.
When you have your bot it’s probably not a good idea to play for 22 or 24 hours a day since this is a clear sign of botting and will earn you a quick ban. There is a technique, though, that actually involves doing this deliberately. Players run their bot full tilt earning as much as they can until they get banned; this is referred to as ‘suicide botting’ and is only used on expendable accounts where resources earned are moved as soon as they are achieved to avoid potentially large losses. The opposite strategy is to mimic a real player’s actions (by changing activities in the game regularly, for instance) to ensure that the bot survives for as long as possible. Again, it all depends on your individual goals and what you want to achieve in the game with a bot.
