If you head to the Waitomo Caves, you can go into the caves and see the glow worms. While this may not sound very exciting, there is something special about being in the dark and seeing all the little lights and knowing they are worms.

For someone who wants to find out more about the people of New Zealand, or specifically, the Moari people, a honeymoon in New Zealand is a great idea. Chances are you will be able to visit a cultural center where you will be taught about their lifestyle, get a meal and likely be able to watch a performance of some sort.
Abel Tasman National Park
Nature lovers will want to head to the north part of the South Island to check out this park while on honeymoon in New Zealand. While this park is the smallest of the national parks in New Zealand, there is a dense forest and lot of wildlife to check out. No vehicles are allowed so you need to be able to enter by foot or by boat.
